Groundbreaking for Tech building set
CONSTRUCTION: Completion expected May, 2008

Groundbreaking for the campus Technology Building and Central Plant takes places Monday (Nov. 27) at 1:30 p.m. according to information supplied in a press release emailed to campus by the Los Angeles Community College District.
Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe is expected to be on hand to dedicate the facility, the release said.
The Tech building is expected to house television, computer technology, drafing and engineering, architecture, business, processing plant and administration of justice programs.
Barriers fencing off the area, which is near college village, are expected to be in place Tuesday. PinnacleOne, which is handling construction, has said student bypasses to the remainder of the campus, will be constructed, But parking adjacent to construction will be restricted.
The project is expected to be completed by May, 2008.
