This past week, student safety has been at risk. At El Camino College, a female reports being assaulted by a man in a parking lot in his mid- 20's wearing a ski mask. Fortunately, she was able to fend off the suspect; however two females at the University of Southern California were not as lucky.
The women were attacked at separate times between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. on the UCS campus. Police believe these attacks to have no connection. Students on the campus have been warned and urged to use the "buddy system".
To prevent further assaults at Harbor College, students who wish to be accompanied by an escort should call 311 or star 80 at any of the phone poles found here on campus to report an emergency.
