With all the world's tragedies and bad press for all our money issues, we all need some laughter in our lives. And who better to make the world laugh then the queen of comedy herself Madea. And in director Tyler Perry latest, he is up to nothing more than the best in humor. With the one-time play "Madea Goes To Jail". In this film, Madea is sent to prison and forced to make the inmates appreciate their lives and she decides to teach them some manners, in her own special way of course, with her old tricks. The Tyler Perry alter-egos are back in there own little ways' and Madea is still the same bitter, crazy old lady to takes care of everyone with the heart of a grandmother who is the safety of her family.
This film, also had the hearts of millions debuted at number one beating out even the romantic comedies that week. It seems that the world needs Madea to make them laugh and have a sense of knowing you can escape for two hours and see someone live their life that is a little crazier than yours. This is probably why everyone is such a fan of her with the same attitude yet everyone seems to respond, very positively to be correct. Every Tyler Perry film starting with 'Diary of A Mad, Black Woman" has all debuted at number one and shows no signs of slowing down that rotation. This film is the number one comedy of the year to start and this film has had positive ratings and feedback from everyone from Us Weekly to the late-night Queen of Mean "Chelsea Lately" who will tell you when something isn't funny in her opinion. This film shows you that we can be in a depression, but we can still laugh with no hesitation and guilt. This film gets TWO THUMBS UP in comedy and the even the comedic styling of Tyler Perry, because he really is a comedic genius.
