Ron Linden, an art instructor at Harbor, explained that prior to the gallery's closure due to constructive advances, it held three professional art shows, as well as a student art exhibition annually. The past presentations portrayed art work from such artists as: Ray Carofano, Peter Plagens, Merwin Belin, Roy Thurston, among others; all of which are well known in the Los Angeles area.
The exhibition will open with an artist's reception on Saturday, October 10th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will run until November 29th. It will be open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is free to all.
For those who are unfamiliar with the gallery's location, it's located in the Fine Arts building at the far west portion of the campus near parking lot 8.l
