Los Angeles Harbor College looked for its first playoff bowl game win in a few years, but ended up falling short of a victory, 49-19 against Fullerton College at Cal State Fullerton.

The Seahawks battled pound-for-pound until the first few series' of the third quarter, when things got out of hand. After getting within two points at, 21-19, the Seahawks offense began to collapse.

Harbor had its hands full from the minute the game started, as Fullerton returned the opening kickoff 74 yards for a touchdown, taking a, 7-0, lead in the first 10 seconds of the game.

The Seahawks then set up a 13 play 72-yard scoring drive, ending with Jon White running for a one-yard touchdown, to tie the game up at, 7-7.

Fullerton came right back on five plays to take the lead at, 14-7.

After a three-in-out by Harbor, it was forced to give the ball back to Fullerton. But defensive back Claude Pierre had another idea, as he got an interception on the next play and ran it back 12-yards to give Harbor the ball back, looking to tie the game up.

The Seahawks once again started the comeback, trying to capitalize on the Fullerton turnover.

On a third and long Quarterback Dominique Blackman connected to Jonathan Davis for 19 yards to keep the drive alive. Blackman then connected to White on a 14-yard pass to put the Seahawks in Fullerton territory. A few plays later after a eight-yard first down run by Donald Matthews, Blackman connected to Dwayne Frampton for 21 yards. Three plays later with just four seconds left in the first quarter, Blackman hooked up with Frampton for a eight-yard touchdown. But with the extra point missed, Harbor trailed, 14-13, going into the second quarter.

After both shared three-in-outs, Fullerton marched 73 yards down the field to get on the board to take a, 21-13 lead.

Starting at its own 10-yard line the Seahawks offense once again went to work. Blackman connected to Ronald Gaudin for 17 yards and wasn't done just yet. He completed three more passes in a row to, Prentice Gill, White, and Frampton, for gains of 19, 10, and 15 yards. Harbor now had the ball at the Fullerton 30 yard line, but were unable to a tying touchdown, and went to into halftime trailing, 21-13.
