A record-setting season for the Los Angeles Harbor College football team season came to a dreadful end last month with back-to-back losses.

Despite falling to Fullerton College at Cal State Fullerton, 49-19, on Nov. 21 in the American Bowl, the Seahawks still finished with an impressive 9-2 record (winning its first 9 games and at 9-0 was the last undefeated team in the state standing). Harbor captured the Mountain Conference championship. The Seahawks averaged 44.6 points per game and look to match this year's success next year.

Coach George Swade was named the Mountain Conference coach of the year.

Quarterback Dominique Blackman was named the offensive player of the year.

Blackman transfered from the University of Washington to Harbor after Washington coach Steve Sarkisian wanted him to convert from quarterback to tight end. Blackman had a stellar season defending his position that he can infact play at quarterback.
