Financial aid applications for the 2010-2011 school years are available on line at Fasfa.gov. Fill out yours quickly and be ready when the school notifies you to come in and complete the paperwork required in the financial aid office. The Cal Grant deadline is March 2 and many of the other programs and grants are only available on a first time come, first serve basis.
This is the time of year to get your financial aid set up for next year. If you do not complete your application within the next couple of months, you may miss out on funds that you could have if you completed your application early.
Get your taxes done early and be ready to use that information on your application. It is the time of year to check the board outside of the financial aid office for scholarship applications. The Los Angeles Harbor College Scholarship application is available now. Many scholarships become available during the spring semester. They are announced on the board outside the financial aid office and on the financial aid page located in the LAHC website, so check often.
