On Tuesday March 9th, during the Work Environment Committee meeting, one of the issues about access control panels for classrooms in the astronomy building, the student union, and possibly the rest of the school was brought to attention.

It will work as a keyed lock system to limit and control an instructors access to certain rooms on the Los Angeles Harbor College campus. Each card has a time tag for whomever enters or leaves the room. The time tag logs the time an instructor enters and leaves his or her classroom. They also lock and unlock the doors, for the purpose of making sure the classrooms are only occupied during class hours, keeping the rooms safe when classes are out of session.

Cards have already been issued to the insturctors.
